The main purpose of this posting is to show an example of high contrast b&w from a color photo instead of your typical grayscale, dull, flat approach.
I used Photoshop CS4 to covert the color photo to b&w.
The photo is a random shot i took during my daughter's (Asante) spring break visit, and my two sons, Sola and Shakuur.

2010 Photography Portfolio Shoot
2010 marks the start of a new photography portfolio. The model in this photo is the lovely Gabrielle Berwick whose also a visual artist.
I also edited this photo with Adobe Photoshop CS4 using the patch tool and a bit of color correction. One of my goals this year is to strengthen my digital editing skills when it come to my photography. So as you visit i hope to show a progression in my work. If not, I'm sure as my followers, you would let me know.
